Chetna Vikas is collaborating with KSCF on child protection in order to promote the complete development of children. In this program, we provide counselling sessions, mental support and give paralegal support to children under the POCSO Act and hold awareness sessions on a regular basis. In addition to the support that was given over the past six months, the program’s initiatives during that time included the Child Marriage Free India Campaign and three-day awareness cum education sessions.

Objective

To ensure to control the Child abuse cases in India as well as support the program where not only accused gets punished but also how child victim gets compensation, mental health and paralegal support so that they can continue fight for justice.

To ensure that following is executed on ground –

1. Provide counselling & mental support to the victim through regular follow-up
2. Assist the survivors and their family through the process of investigation and trial under the POCSO Act by helping them navigate the legal system, facilitating therapeutic intervention and other legal support
3. Running awareness campaign in community and educating the children and its family about child protection
4. Creating a proper referral system so that victim child can complete their education or connect them with any livelihood opportunity.
