Chetna Vikas is a registered, non-profit organization working in more than 450 rural villages of Deoghar and Dumka Districts, Jharkhand State, India.
Chetna Vikas promotes sustainable, agro-based livelihood activities through the facilitation of self-help groups in vulnerable communities. In particular, Chetna Vikas supports tribal, poor and rights-deprived people, with emphasis on women, children and the disabled. Chetna Vikas work is motivated by Gandhian ideology as it relates to the alleviation of suffering and injustice and the development of vulnerable people.
